How to sign a PDF without uploading it
Choose a PDF, create a signature by drawing with your finger or mouse, or type your name and use the generated signature image. Select the PDF page, choose where the signature should appear and apply it. The tool creates a new PDF in memory and starts the download when processing finishes.

Important security and legal limits
A visual signature is not the same as a cryptographic digital signature. The output can show who signed a document, but it does not independently prove identity, certificate ownership or that the document was signed with a trusted electronic-signature credential. Use your organization's approved signing process when a legally qualified or certificate-based signature is required.
Tips for a cleaner signed PDF
- Sign a copy, not the only copy of an important original.
- Leave enough white space near the signature location before adding it.
- Review the final page after download, especially when the source page has a footer or form field near the bottom.
- For sensitive documents, remember that your browser extension environment and device security still matter even when the site itself does not upload the file.

Are my PDF and signature uploaded?
No. This tool uses browser APIs and PDF libraries to create the signed document locally.
Can I sign every page?
Yes. Choose “Every page” and the signature is placed in the same selected position on each page.
Can I move the signature anywhere?
This first version provides predictable bottom-left, bottom-centre and bottom-right placement. Free positioning can be added later without changing the privacy model.
Is this a digital signature certificate?
No. It is a visible signature image. It does not create PKI-based certificate validation or a qualified electronic signature.
